The Story
Project goal
We wanted to make getting a CAD model into VR fast. So the goal was a direct interface that moves the data from the CAD system into the VR app in real time. Product Output
Most VR solutions bring in CAD through exchange formats like STP or FBX, and that's slow. We built a direct interface instead, then tested different ways to make the transfer even faster.
